About Ruby - FPSO
1. Reliance has received its brand new FPSO “ Ruby” from South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries SHI in South Korea
2. “Ruby” is a “state of the art” FPSO with ultra modern facilities for crew comfort.
3. The FPSO was constructed at its main shipyard in Geoje, 330 kilometers south of Seoul.
4. A contract for SHI worth KRW 1.1 trillion (US$963 million) was signed for the construction.
5. “ Ruby” which is a National Asset will be located on the “East Coast” of India off Kakinada
6. A brand new FPSO with “ state of the art” technical facilities such as “Ruby’ needs to be perfectly maintained by a highly motivated and well-informed crew.
